OB Engineering Group was engaged to undertake a structural adequacy assessment as part of upgrade works at an Ampol service station. This assessment was carried out in the early stages of the project to ensure that the existing structural elements were capable of supporting the planned works and that they remained compliant with current performance standards and regulatory requirements.

The scope involved a detailed review of the station’s existing infrastructure, including load-bearing components, framing systems, and foundations. OB Engineering’s assessment provided critical input into the decision-making process, confirming areas of structural sufficiency while also identifying considerations that would allow the upgrade to proceed safely and efficiently.

The project was delivered in collaboration with SwitchCo as the project manager, Enviro3 as principal contractor, and Ampol as the client.
